I started running in 2007 and got hooked since then. After years of participating in so many races, I noticed that my timing does not improve. I couldn't seem to run any faster. Realising that I wont improve if I don't change my training, I decided to join Mileage.

Mileage training only involves 3 sessions a week. I was at first skeptical as I was running 5-6 times a week prior joining. At the back of my mind, I was asking questions like "Will this training work for me?". But as the training progressed, I can see that it does work as my race timings started improving!

I finally scored a sub-4 (3 hrs 57 mins) in Gold Coast Airport Marathon 2013. Which is also 25 minutes faster than the previous marathon in 2012. In the second month of training for Gold Coast, I tripped and badly scraped my knee and wasn't able to run for 2 weeks. I was already on the verge of giving up, but Coach has adjusted the training to the situation and provided encouragement that it is still possible only if I continue training. He has given support (running a few rounds with me during long runs and providing cold drinks!) and words of wisdom - from food, hydration and how to stay focused. He also encouraged being open and honest so that he can know our situation better.

Training with other people in the Mileage family is a BIG plus! Everyone is very encouraging and gives you the push you need every session (and also the push so you wont be lazy to run haha).
